Things have been slow and quiet for all of us on the FFXI front lately. I feel like I don't really know what's going on with a lot of folks, and who's interested in doing what. Let's try to reconnect and be upfront about what everyone wants to accomplish!

I'll start… my big goals are:

• A Shantotto Ascension
• Wings of the Goddess
• AF3+1 (my main want is body, but I also lack hands)

Surprising no one, my big thing is finishing the main storylines for expansions. But to be honest, I don't really know where most of you stand on storyline, in terms of how much of a priority it is for you. The original goal of the LS was to help people get :B:s, and if I can be of assistance with that, then I want help! But I don't want people to feel obligated to do storyline if it's not really their thing, so let's talk about it!

Also, I know scheduling can be really tough, leaving us with small windows of opportunity to {Gather together.} I love it when the whole gang gets together, but logistically, it is challenging, and leaves us with very little time to get the mission done, to say nothing of the possibility of doing multiple missions in one sitting. I worry a lot about people getting left behind when we're planning this stuff, and so as a result, plans get put off, and no one makes progress (or logs in). I'm not sure that this is good for anyone. Even if someone does get left behind, I want to be very clear that I will always log in if I am available, to help with a fight that I've already finished. You just have to ask!

I don't think it's any secret that I'm going to shift priorities to FFXIV when A Realm Reborn launches (soonish?), but I also want to say that I don't plan to drop my FFXI subscription right away or anything. For what it's worth, if you need some Cures and Embravas, I will help, even after the FFXIV re-launch!

I want to see people accomplishing their goals, whatever they may be, and connect with people who can help with that. And soon! Right now, we're kinda doing nothing. Let's not worry too much about scheduling conflicts… we can all accomplish the same goals at different times, with different groups, of different sizes. If there's a fight that needs to be done twice for catch-up, let's help out! I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to accomplish a lot in the next few months, so let's start finding out who can {Team up?} for your own goals, and move on from there!

I've always wanted to get WotG done, and I'll probably work on ASA soon. I'm also finishing what I've started as far as making a blm/brd for yellow procs (need drain/aspir and have to increase my singing skill still), will refine my combat skills for red procs as war and nin as well, and have had blue procs ready as mnk for a while now. So I can help out with storylines and abyssea stuff if needed.

Personally I'd like to +2 my mnk head and feet, which should be a reasonable goal (they're +1 atm and 1/6 on +2 items). Less reasonable would be to get a black belt and finish my verethragna.

So Forky here is whats up. Ive been only wanting to play ffxi to help and missions as of late. So here is how I stand,

ASA- same mission as you since we did it together
WotG mission: caitsith (beginning missions)
AF3 mnk body, head, pup body, hands, dnc head, body, and hands
A decent tanking or heavy DD atma to use

Thats all.

My big goals are:

• Finish ASA - probably need someone to help me do the different kinds of damage to catch up with the group
• Finish WotG

My less important goal is to get more AF3+2s.

I can help with yellow procs with my BLM or WHM. I can help with story battles as well if people can't solo stuff.

Tavi or I Lyn can go with you. PUPs can take on the mobs all of them. Ask Forky I did it for him and Haz.

By the way, if I may ask, what's everyone's stance on Seekers of Adoulin? Is that something anyone's interested in doing when it comes out?

It's hard to say where I'll be at that time, the expansion itself will probably be released late next year due to FFXIV:ARR. But I'd like to do it if others are interested in doing it.

I don't have any set plans for Adoulin, but if I hear it's good, I might buy it after the entire storyline is released/playable.

I pkan to buy it…mystic knight o.o must have.

I'll be doing Adoulin day one and playing through it as it comes out. First time being current with storylines so I might as well!
